We still have places available for our Camino de Santiago trek this October if anyone would like to join this incredible route.
A 5 day spectacular trek through one of the world’s oldest pilgrimage routes.
The El Camino de Santiago, otherwise known as ‘The Way of St James’, is one of the oldest pilgrimage routes in the world and is a World Heritage Site. A journey millions of pilgrims have completed over thousands of years. The way is marked by the symbol of the scallop shell, typically found on the Galician shores.

Peru is frequently referred to as the ‘Land of the Incas’ and has some of the most spectacular and varied scenery in South America. Our route is along an exclusive ‘alternative Inca Trail’, away from the crowded classic Inca Trail. We use a previously unknown Inca Highway, which takes us through some of the most stunning, breathtaking and unspoilt scenery in the world. Our trek starts in the heart of the Urubamba Valley as we follow in the footsteps of the Incas, passing snow capped mountains, glacial peaks and camp overnight in the valleys of small villages, which have changed little over centuries and still use traditional farming methods.
We end the trek passing through the ‘Sun Gate’ and into the lost city of Machu Picchu; Peru’s most famous Inca ruin, which had been abandoned to the forest for over 500 years until it was re-discovered in 1911 by an American historian Hiram Bingham.

One of our new Young Ambassadors fundraising for her Kiltwalk in Edinburgh.
So good to see our young supporters coming up with their own ideas on how to raise money.
Well done to Arianna Kerr and her friends for standing bagpacking for 7 hours … very dedicated.
