When?

8-11 June 2017

What?  Climb the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain.  A short, sharp, amazing trek and we are giving you plenty of time to train and fundraise!

Join us by climbing Spain’s highest peak – Mulhacen at 3,482m – to raise money for Scotland’s young cancer patients and their families. Sheltered valleys, lush green gorges, winding watercourses, cultivated terraces and high-mountain villages – are the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Las Alpujarras are located in Andalucia, southern Spain. This stunning 3-day challenge takes in the highest peaks in the Sierra Nevada range, including Mulhacén, the highest mountain on the Iberian Peninsula at 3482 m!
all participants must pay their own way (approx £875*)  and in addition, raise a minimum of £300 for it’s good 2 give.

That is what we ask of you but what do we give you?

Well, first of all, the knowledge that your fundraising helps our charity support young cancer patients and their families.  We organise get togethers – social, informative and the occasional training walk.  We have a private Facebook group page where trekkers can chat with each other sharing ideas and get to know each other a little bit before the actual trek.
