It's Good 2 Give Welcomes Celebrity Chef Nick Nairn as New Patron!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the renowned Scottish Chef, Nick Nairn, has become a Patron of It's good 2 give!
Nick, accompanied by his wonderful wife Julia, recently visited our beloved Ripple Retreat. It's safe to say they were captivated by its serene beauty and the profound sense of peace it offers. We were so touched by their genuine connection to the retreat and their immediate desire to support our mission.
I had the immense pleasure of sharing with Nick and Julia the many stories I've gathered over two decades of fundraising. I spoke about the incredibly inspiring families we've had the privilege to meet and how the Ripple Retreat, along with the psychological support we provide, offers a vital sanctuary during challenging times. Nick and Julia were visibly moved as they heard about the impact our charity has on so many lives.
It's often hard to put into words the unique feeling of tranquility and being "at one with nature" that the Ripple Retreat evokes. But as we showed them our guest book, filled with heartfelt messages from families, they truly understood. The entries beautifully articulate the sense of calm and rejuvenation our guests experience.
Nick is particularly enthusiastic about my ambitious challenge to Raise Half a Million Pounds by the end of 2026! He's already brimming with fantastic ideas on how we can achieve this goal, and I am incredibly excited to collaborate with both him and Julia on this journey.
We are super proud to welcome Nick Nairn into the It's good 2 give family. His passion, energy, and commitment will be invaluable as we continue to support young cancer patients and their families.
Stay tuned for exciting updates as we embark on this new chapter with our incredible new Patron!
