New Arrival! A magical Addition to Our Retreat Bookcase

We're absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new, wonderful addition to our beloved bookcase here at the retreat! Many of you know we're huge fans of Donna Ashworth's beautiful poetry, and we're proud to have a full collection of her books for our guests to enjoy.

Her latest release, a children's book of poetry, has now taken pride of place! We've popped some pictures of it nestled amongst our other treasures, and we truly hope it brings as much joy to the children and families who visit us as it does to us.

Reading is incredibly important to us, and when Ian and I designed the bedrooms, creating a cosy reading nook in each one was a must-have. Our biggest bookcase, overflowing with gorgeous, loved books (some generously donated, some hand-picked by us!), is a testament to that passion.

And here's a little secret for our families: if you find yourself midway through a book during your stay and just can't put it down, please, take it home with you! Just let us know, and we'll happily replace it – no bother at all.
