Why a Regular Gift?
You don’t need to climb mountains or run marathons to make a life-changing impact. We’re asking you to consider becoming a Friend of the Ripple Retreat.
A regular donation from you allows us to host families at the Ripple Retreat providing a peaceful escape and opportunity to relax, offering time away from doctors, procedures, and hospitals, in a safe and calming environment.
What Your Money Could Provide at the Ripple Retreat.
£5 a month could help provide toys and books for young cancer patients and their siblings. We replenish our toys and books on a regular basis for families to enjoy.
£10 a month could buy food for the wildlife to ensure the garden and woodland remains a haven for birds and squirrels, bringing smiles and creating lasting memories for all.
£25 a month could fund a meal or activity voucher for families to enjoy during their stay. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes, and activities in the local area for families to enjoy rare moments together away from the hospital environment.
£50 a month could help fund non perishable items for the kitchen so that families have everything they need for their stay.
£100 a month could help fund vouchers we gift to families to cover their petrol and food costs during their stay.
How can I get involved?
Becoming a Friend of the Ripple Retreat is simple. You can set up regular payments via JustGiving or set up a Standing Order for an amount that suits you.
Option One:
Make regular donations via our Just Giving Page in just a few simple clicks. Simply choose to donate monthly, select the amount you’d like to give, the day and month you would like to start donating from, and whether you’d like this to come from your bank account or PayPal account.
Option Two:
Set up a Standing Order with your bank by providing your bank with our bank details. This can be done via online banking or contacting your bank. To this please ask for our bank details and let us know that you’ve set up a standing order here.
Gift Aid
Please remember to confirm on the Just Giving page or Standing Order request whether you would like It’s good 2 give to claim Gift Aid on your monthly donations and any past or future donations you make. This could enable us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate with no extra cost to you. Please note:
You must be a UK taxpayer
You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.
